Job summary

Green Thumb Industries is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the facility with routine and preventative maintenance, cleaning, and system upkeep. You will assist the Maintenance Manager and work with HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems while maintaining a team-focused, safety-minded approach.

The ideal candidate has experience in maintenance, strong tool skills, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment, while complying with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED required; some college or college graduate preferred.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or similar position preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical and general construction/carpentry.
• Highly knowledgeable with hand and power tools.
• Ability to work independently or in teams with good judgment and resourcefulness.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced startup environment.
• Compliant with company policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties in a safe manner following company policies.
• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs as needed.
• Assist in maintenance and repairs on facility equipment.
• Perform routine filter cleaning and replacement on HVAC units and equipment.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Complete work orders as assigned.
• Develop knowledge of facility equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with policies and required training.
• Unloading freight deliveries when needed.
• Research and adapt to new methods to meet goals.
