Job summary

Green Thumb Industries in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager with routine and preventative maintenance of all facility equipment. The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC tasks and general upkeep, requiring a hands-on, team-oriented approach.

You will perform repairs, participate in safety and regulatory compliance, complete work orders, and help maintain a clean, efficient facility while developing knowledge of our systems and equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED required; some college or college graduate preferred.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or similar position preferred.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical and general construction/carpentry.
• Highly knowledgeable with hand and power tools.
• Self-directed, able to work independently or among teams with keen judgement, common sense and resourcefulness.
• Adaptable to a demanding, start-up, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties in a safe manner, following Company work rules and policies.
• Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs, troubleshooting & preventative maintenance as necessary.
• Assist in construction, preventative, routine, and breakdown maintenance and repairs on all equipment in the facility.
• Perform routine filter cleaning and replacement activities on HVAC units and other equipment throughout the facility.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Complete work orders as assigned.
