Job summary

H-E-B is looking for a Cross-Functional Representative to support customer service across several departments including packaging, stocking, rotation, production, and sanitation. You will engage customers, answer questions, and help with product selection while collaborating across teams to meet store goals.

The role requires flexibility to work across departments, adherence to SOPs, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age or older.
• 6+ months of experience in H-E-B Store operations.
• Knowledge of computer systems (Symbol, ACR, label machine).
• Customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and autonomously.
• HS Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Completion of Company Orientation and Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service; answers questions, takes orders, assists with product selection.
• Uses suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and increase department sales.
• Performs stocking, rotation, inventory checks, and maintains displays.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards on the sales floor and in prep areas.
• Gains knowledge of multiple departments and adheres to SOPs and policies.
• Acts as a Checker for the Cross Functional team when not performing cross functional duties.
