Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months experience in H-E-B store operations.
• Knowledge of computer systems (Symbol, ACR, label machine) required.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to read policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service; answer questions and assist with product selection.
• Suggestive selling to meet customer needs and increase department sales.
• Work across multiple departments including packaging, stocking, rotation, production, and sanitation.
• Maintain displays, stock, rotate products and manage inventory accuracy.
• Operate in food safety/sanitation practices and follow SOPs.
• Flexibly work shifts and support service cross-functional team as a Checker when needed.
