Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations, drive sales, and inspire a high-performing team. You will supervise staff, deliver outstanding guest service, manage inventory, and coordinate omni-channel initiatives to meet sales targets.

You’ll recruit and train associates, enforce store policies, schedule shifts, and oversee payroll while maintaining a safe, organized shopping environment and strong guest relationships.

Qualifications

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; related degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Store Manager will manage and lead in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests.
• Support visual and operational elements and guest relationships.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS and provide top guest service.
• Promote GameStop benefits such as reservations, trade-ins, and Pro Rewards.
• Recruit, interview, hire, develop, and retain associates.
• Ensure onboarding and training prior to opening/closing shifts.
• Communicate with District Manager and train staff on policies.
• Schedule staff and manage payroll and time off.
• Ensure store safety and compliance and maintain cleanliness.
• Oversee inventory counts and stock replenishment across stores.
• Lead team to meet sales, profit, and shrink goals.
• Fulfill Omni-Channel orders daily.
• Maintain store records and proper documentation.
