Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Store Manager to lead store operations and a retail team in the United States. The role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, driving sales, and managing inventory and staff performance to meet sales and profit goals.

You will recruit and develop associates, ensure onboarding and compliance training, and oversee scheduling and payroll processes while maintaining store standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must provide proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/merchandising preferred.
• At least 1 year of retail management experience required.
• At least 3 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management/leadership experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations in a multiunit capacity.
• Provide and model best-in-class guest service, greet guests, address questions, and promote sales initiatives.
• Support the shopping environment, visual/operational elements, and guest relationships to drive sales and loyalty.
• Process guest purchases/returns accurately using POS and provide top-notch service.
• Promote GameStop benefits (new title reservations, trade-in program, Pro Rewards).
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop associates; oversee onboarding and compliance training.
• Schedule staff, supervise, and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Assistant Store Managers.
• Ensure store policies, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and financial procedures are followed.
