Job summary

Avolta, including Dufry, HMSHost Corporation, Hudson, and affiliates, is seeking an Assistant Multi-Unit Manager to provide operational support across retail locations. You will maintain SOPs, drive staffing and scheduling, and mentor Shift Managers, ensuring consistency and strong performance.

Responsibilities include overseeing inventory, budgets, brand compliance, and customer experience while coordinating with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Education and experience must exceed 4 years.
• In a leadership role: requires 2 years of supervision experience in retail operations.
• In a technical role: requires 4–6 years of retail operations experience delivering store management, merchandising, and customer service programs.
• A Bachelor’s degree can count for 2 of the 4-year requirement.
• Knowledge of state and federal retail, employment, safety regulations and statutes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SOP adherence and audits; enforce protocols.
• Coach Shift Managers and hourly team members; ensure proper scheduling and coverage.
• Monitor and analyze retail data to support unit goals; take corrective actions.
• Oversee daily inventory; coordinate with vendors; maintain equipment.
• Review timekeeping and overtime to ensure labor law compliance and budget objectives.
• Maintain brand standards; train staff on compliance and visual merchandising.
• Resolve complex customer issues; enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
• Train associates and managers; communicate initiatives and changes.
