Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking an Area Manager to lead multiple stores within a defined region, guiding store managers and teams to deliver a customer‑centric experience and strong financial performance.

This role requires 8+ years in multi‑unit retail, 3–5 years P&L oversight, and willingness to travel. A BS/BA is preferred. You will partner with the Bridgestone support network to drive growth, compliance, and talent development across the region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years combined experience managing multiple stores or multi-unit retail operations.
• 3–5 years oversight of a P&L for a store or area/district.
• High school degree or equivalent is required; BS/BA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance of multiple Store Managers and their retail locations
• Support company initiatives to achieve Vision 2020 strategy and customer-centric culture
• Monitor performance goals for each store including customer count/retention and sales
• Identify training and development opportunities for teammates
• Set business plan and manage the P&L for assigned Area
• Drive B2B business within the assigned area
• Ensure stores follow compliance and safety policies and procedures
• Manage and resolve customer escalations
• Partner with region and Store Support Center staff as needed
• Visit each store regularly and attend region meetings as required
