Job summary

TGI Friday's in Herndon, VA is seeking a Manager to assist in leading restaurant operations and coaching a team of 3–6 Managers plus front‑ and back‑of‑house staff to deliver an outstanding guest experience and grow guest counts, sales and MOP.

You will align all actions with the Credo and Guiding Principles, recruit and develop talent, monitor performance, control costs, and respond to guest feedback to turn dissatisfied Guests into return Guests.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Restaurant Management with knowledge of Friday's recipes, policies and standards.
• Knowledge of POS systems and back office systems to fulfill management functions.

Responsibilities

• Manages all day-to-day restaurant operations with a focus on delivering a great guest experience; supervises and supports 3–6 Managers and all FOH and BOH hourly Team Members; manages all profit and loss centers.
• Aligns all behavior with the Credo and Guiding Principles.
• Executes on all brand standards.
• Identifies opportunities to drive sales, traffic and return visits with a 4-wall mentality; oversees implementation of local store marketing and national marketing promotions.
• Assists with staffing needs to ensure adequate coverage; develops high-potential team members and managers.
• Provides ongoing feedback, coaching and development to managers and team members.
• Evaluates performance and holds staff accountable to results.
• Creates a safe, clean and discrimination-free environment meeting legal and company standards.
• Responds to Guest service complaints and turns dissatisfied Guests into return Guests.
• Completes financial and payroll related duties according to company policies.
