Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a General Manager to oversee a location under the Area Director, driving operational and financial performance and building top-performing teams. The GM will mentor Managers and hourly TEAM Members, ensure guest satisfaction, and uphold Company standards and values.

The role requires prior AGM or Unit GM experience and completion of Apple II Management training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management or related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of multi-unit restaurant management with direct P&L accountability.
• Completion of Apple II Management training.
• Exemplary restaurant operations leadership with strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and financial performance and human capital within the location.
• Lead management team and hourly TEAM Members to achieve goals and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain controls, budgets, inventory, safety, sanitation, and compliance with legal requirements.
• Develop managers, conduct evaluations, provide feedback, and coach staff to meet performance objectives.
• Plan and supervise recruitment, training, and retention of qualified TEAM Members.
