Job summary

The Taco Bell Area Coach (AC) leads 5–10 Taco Bell restaurants, guiding Restaurant General Managers (RGMs) to meet operating plans and produce strong results. The AC coaches RGMs and AGMs on guest service, margin, and employee engagement, while ensuring food safety, product standards, and brand execution.

This role focuses on building management capability, maintaining customer satisfaction, and coaching on P&L with hands-on training as needed.

Qualifications

• Associates or Undergraduate degree or equivalent Taco Bell/industry experience.
• 6-8 years supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment.
• Thorough knowledge of Taco Bell performance metrics, product specifications and management systems.
• Technically proficient in all aspects of food preparation, production and delivery. Displays detailed knowledge of all key food handling/food safety procedures.
• Proven ability to drive customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Coach RGMs and AGMs to meet performance targets and uphold brand standards.
• Develop and train managerial employees, including onboarding and mentoring.
• Lead and implement product and program rollouts with RGMs and store teams.
• Analyze financial performance and drive sales and profitability across the area.
• Travel to designated stores to supervise and support restaurant operations.
• Respond to customer service needs and model exemplary behavior.
