Job summary

Greater Baltimore Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care across multiple areas under general supervision. The role requires 60 hours of availability in a 4-week schedule with decreased holiday and weekend commitments and no on-call requirement.

Applicants must hold an Associate Degree in Nursing, have at least two years in nursing procedural areas or LPN with director approval, and possess Maryland RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
• Two years' experience in nursing procedural areas or LPN with director approval.
• Current RN license with Maryland State Board.
• BLS certification is required; ALS/PALS/NRP required upon hire for specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and formulate nursing diagnoses.
• Plan and update the written nursing care plan.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments.
• Coordinate patient care with the health team and family.
• Provide patient teaching and discharge planning.
• Support professional excellence; may participate as RN 3 or charge RN.
