Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Baltimore is seeking an RN in a division-based role to improve staffing flexibility and provide 60 hours every 4 weeks. You will work in multiple areas within your expertise and deliver direct patient care under general supervision.

The position requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and MD RN licensure, with at least two years of procedural nursing experience or approved LPN experience. No on-call requirement and a focus on patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• At least two years’ experience in Nursing procedural areas or LPN with director approval.
• Proficiency in nursing plan of care, care delivery, and outcome evaluation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrates skill in patient experience and service recovery.

Responsibilities

• Compiles database and formulates nursing diagnosis and reassesses as conditions change.
• Initiates and updates a written nursing plan of care with input from care teams.
• Performs clinical nursing skills, administers medications, IV therapy and treatments.
• Delivers status updates to physicians, nurses and other health care professionals.
• Manages daily patient assignment and coordinates with disciplines.
