100 Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care across multiple areas within their expertise. The role requires 60 hours of availability in a 4-week schedule with decreased holiday and weekend commitment and no on-call requirement, under general supervision.

Education: Associate Degree in Nursing is required. At least two years of nursing procedural experience or LPN with director approval is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• At least two years’ experience in nursing procedural areas or LPN with director approval.
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Maryland State Board.
• Current BLS certification from an American Heart Association site.
• Additional certifications (ALS, PALS, NRP) may be required upon hire for specialty areas.

Responsabilités

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
• Develop and update written nursing plans of care incorporating clinical findings.
• Administer medications, IV therapy and treatments; respond to emergencies.
• Coordinate patient activities and collaborate with health team members.
• Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning and teaching.
• Precept, mentor, and support staff as needed; monitor patient flow and productivity.
