Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a flexible, non-benefited nurse who will provide direct patient care across multiple areas under general supervision. The role requires 60 hours of availability in a 4-week schedule with decreased holiday and weekend commitments and no on-call duties.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate Degree in Nursing and at least two years of experience in nursing procedural areas, or LPN with director approval. Current MD RN licensure and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must have Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
• Minimum of two years experience in nursing procedural areas or LPN with director approval.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and formulate nursing diagnoses and plans.
• Plan and coordinate hospital and post-discharge care.
• Implement nursing care, administer meds and IV therapy, and document status for the care team.
• Coordinate daily patient assignments and supervise ancillary staff.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
