Job summary

Circle K is seeking a District Manager in the Tampa area to leadStore Managers, drive sales, and optimize operations. This role requires strong leadership, proven multi-unit retail experience, and excellence in communication and training.

You will recruit and develop store leadership, manage budgets, and ensure compliance and customer service standards. Applicants should have a business-related degree with a Master’s preferred, be self-motivated, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of retail management experience; multi-unit experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, strong communication and customer service orientation.
• Able to supervise/train Store Managers and manage store operations.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maximizes store sales by directing Store Managers with merchandising programs and promotions.
• Manages controllable costs including salaries and overtime; analyzes variances.
• Forecasts requirements, prepares budgets, and initiates corrective action.
• Evaluates vendors' performance and develops partnerships.
• Provides leadership to Store Managers and oversees recruiting, selection and orientation.
• Maintains safety, compliance, and a non-discriminatory work environment.
• Develops tasks and ensures site is clean, stocked, and organized per company standards.
