Marlborough, MA | $85,000–$105,000 Base + Benefits

A growing, multi-state service organization is hiring a hands-on Multi-Unit Area Manager to lead the operational and financial performance of several customer-facing locations throughout an assigned Massachusetts market.

This is a visible field leadership position for someone who can develop Store Managers, analyze business performance, solve operational problems, and create consistent accountability across multiple locations. Automotive experience is helpful but not required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the sales, profitability, staffing, customer experience, and operational performance of multiple locations.
• Spend most of the week visiting stores, observing operations, coaching managers, and resolving performance issues.
• Review P&L results, labor, productivity, sales trends, expenses, and customer-service metrics.
• Develop Store Managers and build a strong pipeline of future management talent.
• Create clear action plans for underperforming locations and ensure consistent follow-through.
• Maintain strong standards around safety, staffing, inventory, store readiness, and company procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• Progressive operations leadership experience in a multi-location environment.
• Experience directly leading Store Managers, General Managers, or similar location leaders.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, labor, sales, productivity, and operating expenses.
• Proven ability to analyze performance and determine the root cause of business problems.
• Strong coaching, accountability, communication, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout the assigned market.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive services, retail, QSR, convenience stores, car wash, or hospitality.
• Experience improving underperforming locations.
• Experience working within a franchise or highly standardized operating environment.
