Job summary

MOHR Talent is partnering with a large automotive services company to hire an Area Manager to oversee multiple high-volume locations across the Worcester market.

This role seeks an experienced multi-unit operations leader who can guide store managers, drive sales and profitability, and deliver a consistently strong customer experience.

Automotive experience is helpful but not required; leaders from restaurants, retail, hospitality, and other high-volume businesses are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience.
• 2+ years of multi-unit management experience.
• Experience leading Store Managers or similar leaders.
• Strong understanding of P&L, sales, labor, budgeting, and customer service.
• Proven ability to drive performance across multiple locations.
• Comfortable in a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently between locations.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across multiple automotive service locations.
• Lead, coach, and develop Store Managers and location leadership teams.
• Drive improvements in sales, profitability, labor, customer service, and operational execution.
• Regularly visit locations to evaluate performance, staffing, safety, cleanliness, inventory, and customer experience.
• Review P&L results and location-level KPIs and develop action plans to improve performance.
• Hold managers accountable for sales goals, operational standards, and team performance.
• Recruit, develop, and retain strong managers while building a pipeline of future leaders.
• Monitor customer feedback and improve service, retention, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Partner with HR on staffing, attendance, and performance management.
• Ensure locations follow company policies, safety standards, and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, control expenses, and improve profitability.

About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a large, established automotive services company that is hiring an Area Manager to oversee multiple high-volume locations throughout the Worcester market.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced multi-unit operations leader who knows how to lead managers, improve location performance, drive sales and profitability, and deliver a consistently strong customer experience.

While automotive experience is highly relevant, it is not required. Successful multi-unit leaders from restaurants, QSR, retail, hospitality, and other high-volume service businesses are strongly encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee daily operations across multiple automotive service locations.

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience.
• 2+ years of multi-unit management experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading Store Managers, General Managers, Restaurant Managers, Branch Managers, or similar leaders.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, sales, labor, staffing, KPIs, budgeting, and customer service.
• Proven experience improving performance across multiple locations.
• Strong coaching, leadership, accountability, and people-development skills.
• Comfortable operating in a high-volume, customer-facing environment.
• Strong business judgment and ability to turn performance data into action.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel frequently between assigned locations.
• Flexibility to occasionally work evenings or weekends based on business needs.
