Job summary

Taco Bell franchisee is seeking an Area Coach to lead approximately 4–10 restaurants and ensure each Restaurant General Manager meets annual operating goals.

The role requires hands-on leadership, coaching and developing RGMs, driving customer satisfaction, and enhancing financial performance across the area. Travel daily between stores is required and background checks are conducted.

Qualifications

• 5 years of successful multi-unit management experience.
• Proven track record of selecting, coaching and developing managerial employees.
• Proven ability to achieve high customer satisfaction, financial performance and employee satisfaction.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with conflict resolution ability.
• Exceptional team-building capability.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical decision making.
• Basic personal computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to travel between designated stores daily.
• Background checks are run on all management employees.

Responsibilities

• Model the How We Work Together Principles in all actions and leadership.
• Find, hire and develop RGMs and Shift Managers.
• Coach RGMs on the 4 Rights with regular 1:1 feedback sessions.
• Act proactively and maintain high activity levels beyond minimum requirements.
• Assess customer perception through visits, VOC and CORE analyses.
• Lead product and program rollouts with RGMs for success.
• Resolve customer complaints quickly while maintaining positive relations.
• Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic attitude with staff and customers.
• Analyze the area’s financial performance and identify trends.
