Job summary

Vivmark Residential is seeking a Maintenance Technician II in Pleasanton, CA. This full-time role supports maintaining apartment homes, diagnosing and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general systems to ensure high-quality living experiences for residents.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to participate in an on-call rotation. A competitive benefits package is offered by Vivmark.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience including HVAC, electrical and plumbing.
• Valid driver's license.
• On-call availability in rotation.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members.
• Ability to read policies and SDS sheets.
• Knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.
• Basic understanding of emergency systems and painting tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances and related systems.
• Completes service requests in a timely manner per standards.
• Ensures vacant apartments are rent-ready and performs turnkey work as needed.
• Conducts apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains safety culture by following policies and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Performs hot work (braze, solder, weld) within standards.
