Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Multi Trade Joiner to join our social housing maintenance team. The role is site based with a joinery bias, covering repairs and replacements across multiple locations and requiring a proactive, customer‑facing approach.

This is a full‑time hybrid role offering stable, long‑term work, a company van and fuel card, pension, training and career development, plus a supportive planning team.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-trade joinery and social housing maintenance.
• Proactive, customer-facing approach required.
• NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Replacement and repairs of upvc doors, windows, kitchens and bathrooms.

Summary

Multi Trade Operative- Joinery bias

Location: Site based, covering Workington, Whitehaven, Egremont, Maryport, Wigton and surrounding areas

Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Joiner to join Novus Property Solutions, Planned works and Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Multi Trade background, joinery experience essential. The works include the replacement and occasional repairs of various upvc doors, windows, kitchen, bathrooms and general maintenance to ensure functionality.

Basic Plumbing, replacement of sanitaryware, toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, taps with occasional repairs

Tiling & patch plastering including making good

Painting and decorating as and when required

Social Housing experience is essential as you will be working in tenanted properties

Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.

Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively

Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes

Following Novus' exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards

NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery

Full UK driving license is required.

The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
