Delta Staffing is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to manage payroll operations across multiple locations. You will process payroll, handle employee transactions, and respond to inquiries while maintaining accurate records and compliance.

The role requires attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to handle sensitive information in a fast-paced environment. Experience with UKG payroll is preferred and knowledge of U.S. payroll practices is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or accounting (or equivalent).
• 1–4 years payroll experience across multiple locations.
• UKG payroll experience preferred.
• Knowledge of U.S. payroll practices, multi-state/local taxes.
• Strong Excel skills: PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll and related payments accurately and on schedule.
• Review timekeeping and attendance data prior to processing.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end tax reporting and corrections.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and confidentiality.
• Support benefits and leave administration processes.
• Prepare payroll-related invoices and reports.
