Job summary

First Coast Security Services (FCS) is seeking a full-time HR Generalist to support our operations across multiple states. You will act as the primary HR contact, handling onboarding, employee relations, investigations, compliance audits, and policy implementation in a fast-paced private security environment.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of HR or related experience, strong knowledge of employment laws, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of HR, office management, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of employment law and HR compliance standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• CPR certified or willing to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee HR inquiries and escalate complex issues as needed.
• Administer background checks, DMV reviews, drug/alcohol screenings, and employment eligibility verification per client contracts and policy.
• Conduct workplace investigations and document findings; participate in disciplinary meetings and terminations as needed.
• Partner with managers to identify staffing needs and support recruiting, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Monitor training programs including safety, anti-harassment, and continuing education compliance.
