Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Plano, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance across apartment homes and common areas. You will diagnose issues in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems, complete service requests promptly, and ensure vacant units are rent-ready.

The role requires a high school diploma (GED preferred), about 1 year in property management maintenance, basic arithmetic, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties of a Maintenance Technician.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for estimating, averages, percentages, and totals.
• Able to use general office equipment (PC, phone, copier, etc.).
• Frequent use of general maintenance tools and equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with company vehicle policy.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, and related systems.
• Complete service requests and repairs safely and timely.
• Perform turn-key work to ensure vacant apartments are rent-ready.
