Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Glendale, CA is seeking a Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing and related systems, and to perform turnover work to ready vacant apartment homes safely and efficiently.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of property-management maintenance experience, basic arithmetic, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with common tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 1 year experience in property management maintenance.
• Basic arithmetic for estimation and calculations.
• Ability to operate general office equipment.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and follow vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, systems and more.
• Complete service requests safely and promptly following standards.
• Perform turn-key work to ready vacant apartment homes.
• Maintain customer service standards and respond to resident requests.
• Promote safety and comply with company policies and regulations.
• May supervise other staff or contractors.
• May drive company or personal vehicle between locations.
