Job summary

Nelson-Jameson, Inc. is seeking a Service Planner Scheduler to coordinate maintenance across multiple sites. You will translate service needs into detailed plans, manage parts, and align with Project Managers, field technicians, customers, and vendors.

This role supports a distributed field service team, travels up to 25%, and requires a technical mindset, strong organization, and hands-on experience with CMMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, service coordination, or related operational role.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
• Experience with CMMS and ERP systems such as P21.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across the western region and other U.S. regions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to work across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain service and repair programs with defined scope and parts.
• Build and manage detailed work orders with scope, materials, labor estimates, and service documentation.
• Coordinate technician schedules across multiple locations.
• Support Project Managers and review completed work for improvements.
• Create asset hierarchies and maintain data in CMMS/ERP.
