Job summary

Hexion is seeking a Maintenance Planner to develop complete, accurate, and executable job plans across three North American sites. You will transform approved work requests into fully planned work packages, ensuring safe, efficient execution and strong collaboration with Gatekeepers, Schedulers, Supervisors, Operations, Procurement, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning within industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, or industrial maintenance systems.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, equipment documentation, procedures, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency with CMMS/EAM systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, Infor, or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Review approved requests and convert them into detailed work orders.
• Define job scope, steps, and technical instructions.
• Identify crafts, labor hours, and skill levels.
• Determine materials, tools, equipment, and contractor needs.
• Develop safe, efficient, and repeatable work plans for multiple sites.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Stores to ensure material availability.
• Ensure readiness and backlog management for scheduling.
