Job summary

Nelson-Jameson, Inc. is seeking a Service Planner Scheduler to plan, coordinate, and support service and repair work across our multi-site Midwest network.

This role combines scheduling, technical planning, and cross-functional coordination to ensure work is scoped, resourced, and executed efficiently. You will work closely with Project Managers, field technicians, customers, and vendors to improve service delivery and customer equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 2+ years in maintenance planning, scheduling, or service coordination.
• Experience with CMMS or ERP systems (P21 or similar).
• Knowledge of sanitary processing equipment and maintenance practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to coordinate across multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% regionally.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate service and repair work across multiple locations.
• Develop service programs with clear scope, parts, and labor estimates.
• Coordinate technician schedules and communicate with customers.
• Support project managers and drive consistent service delivery.
• Create and maintain documentation and asset data in CMMS/ERP.
• Assist with quotes and invoicing in ERP systems.
