Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support its multifamily communities. The role covers routine, preventative, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance under supervision, ensuring repairs and make-ready tasks align with property objectives.

The incumbent will handle on-site duties, attend to daily requests, assist with turnover events, and maintain property safety standards while collaborating with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required to operate on-site software.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on community common areas, buildings, and units.
• Respond to resident/management requests and work orders promptly.
• Assist in scheduling and executing maintenance/repair‑related turn events.
• Maintain the exterior of the community, grounds, breezeways and common areas.
• Perform swimming pool maintenance and log chemical readings.
• Inspect property daily to identify hazards and prevent liability.
• Keep maintenance shop organized and stocked; follow safety/OSHA rules.
