Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support daily operations of our multifamily communities. This role carries out corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance and assists with make-ready tasks under supervision.

Regular onsite attendance, attention to safety, and accurate record-keeping are essential. Responsibilities include responding to work orders, maintaining pools and grounds, assisting with inventory, and ensuring compliance with EPA/OSHA

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Community Maintenance: respond to resident/management requests and work orders for common areas, buildings, and units.
• Perform repairs and replacements necessary for community areas and units.
• Assist scheduling and execution of maintenance/repair-related turn events.
• Daily exterior maintenance including grounds, breezeways, and all common areas.
• Pool maintenance and chemical logs.
• Inspect grounds and buildings for hazards and compliance.
• Maintain preventative maintenance program to extend life of community.
• Maintain safety standards and OSHA guidelines.
• Assist with inventory and record-keeping of service requests and make-readies.
• On-call emergency maintenance at the community.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resident relations.
