Job summary

WLS Stamping in the United States is seeking an hands-on IT Support Specialist to keep systems, network, and users running smoothly across multiple plant locations. The role requires physically setting up hardware, deploying devices, and assisting with ERP/MRP applications on the shop floor.

You will split time between sites, handle help desk tickets, configure printers and network devices, and coordinate with engineering and maintenance to minimize downtime while adhering to safety and PPE

Qualifications

3–5 years IT support or help desk experience.
Working knowledge of Windows desktop environments, Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Experience troubleshooting network fundamentals (switches, routers, VPN, TCP/IP).
Willingness to travel between plant locations and perform physical setup tasks.
Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments and ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary IT support across assigned plant locations; troubleshoot hardware, software, printing, and connectivity.
Respond to help desk tickets promptly and prioritize by urgency and production impact.
Provide end-user training on standard software tools and IT best practices.
Set up and deploy desktops, laptops, tablets, scanners, and peripherals for new hires.
Troubleshoot network connectivity, administer user accounts, and support ERP/MRP systems.
