Job summary

MPW Industrial Services is seeking an IT Support Specialist to deliver responsive technical support to users across multiple locations, troubleshoot issues, manage assets, and assist with desktop and network environments while supporting infrastructure projects and upholding MPW’s safety and service standards.

You will install and maintain hardware and software, handle incidents via the work order system, deploy devices, manage inventory, create documentation, and provide both remote and on-site

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in technology or equivalent work experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal communication, organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, imaging, networking, wireless technology, TCP/IP, and broadband connectivity.
• Experience with enterprise technologies such as Microsoft Intune, Azure AD, Exchange Online, Microsoft 365/Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online, Cisco security apps, Cisco Meraki and CradlePoint networking, and ChatGPT Enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers, phones, mobile devices, software, and peripherals across multiple locations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in person, by phone, and via remote assistance.
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair hardware and software per specifications.
• Manage incidents and service requests through the work order system.
• Purchase, configure, and deploy computers, networking hardware, and other approved equipment.
• Manage technical assets throughout their life cycle and follow inventory policies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support procedures.
• Support desktop environments and assist with limited network administration and infrastructure projects.
• Support users and equipment at multiple locations via remote and in-person service.
• Follow safety procedures, lead by example, and participate in weekly on-call rotation.
• Travel to support users and equipment at company locations.
