Job summary

POAH Communities in Carthage, MO, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Deerfield Village, Highland Meadows, and Highland Acres. You will perform carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general preventative maintenance across three properties, ensuring safe and comfortable homes for residents.

The role requires at least 1 year in apartment maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. HVAC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment maintenance experience required.
• High School diploma or GED required; HVAC cert preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance may be required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and on-call as necessary.
• Knowledge of safe use of hand/power tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, secure and comfortable living environments for residents, visitors and staff.
• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Diagnose and perform minor/ routine repairs.
• Complete make-ready repairs and services.
• Inspect and coordinate all needed repairs and services.
• Keep grounds neat; rake, sweep, shovel as necessary.
