Job summary

Volunteer Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Nashville apartment communities. You will oversee a maintenance team and coordinate with property leadership to maintain safe, comfortable living environments.

The role requires 5–7 years in multi-family maintenance, EPA certification, and strong leadership and budgeting skills. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided, with worksite mobility across multiple sites in the Nashville area.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of multi-family maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification required.
• Experience with property management software and related tech.
• Strong planning and leadership of a professional team.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting and performance management.
• Understanding of Fair Housing Laws and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage maintenance team and ensure quality output.
• Develop weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work.
• Oversee vendor hiring and supervision during installs/maintenance.
• Inspect facilities and building systems for issues.
• Coordinate renovation projects and monitor budgets.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards.
