Job summary

Volunteer Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily operations at our apartment communities in Nashville, TN. You will oversee a maintenance team, manage schedules, and coordinate vendor work to keep building systems in top condition.

The role requires 5–7 years in multi-family maintenance, EPA certification, and strong budgeting, safety, and leadership skills to ensure compliance and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of multi-family maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Proven ability to lead a team and plan maintenance work.
• Experience with property management systems and basic budgeting.
• Strong communication, scheduling, and vendor management skills.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and Fair Housing laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and be accountable for your team's work product.
• Prepare weekly maintenance schedules and allocate tasks.
• Hire and supervise vendors for installations, repairs or maintenance.
• Inspect facilities and building systems for upkeep and repairs.
• Contribute to maintenance budgeting and cost control.
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment.
