Job summary

Volunteer Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead daily operations at our apartment communities in Nashville, TN. You will supervise maintenance staff, coordinate with managers, and ensure timely upkeep of buildings and systems to provide a safe, comfortable living environment.

The role requires strong leadership, budget awareness, and knowledge of property management systems. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, vendor management, and a commitment

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of multi-family maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification is required.
• Proven leadership of a professional maintenance team.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organizational skills.
• Experience with property management software and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and evaluate daily maintenance work.
• Develop weekly maintenance schedules and assign tasks.
• Oversee vendor engagements for installations and repairs.
• Inspect facilities and building systems for safety and reliability.
• Monitor inventory and manage maintenance budget with managers.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate renovations and capital projects.
• Maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
• Communicate clearly with residents and build strong team culture.
• Maintain documentation and reporting across systems.
