Job summary

Avenue5 Residential is seeking a Floating Assistant Maintenance Supervisor in Austin to oversee day-to-day maintenance operations at assigned properties. You will ensure compliance with Avenue5 policies and local regulations, while managing maintenance requests and safety protocols.

Responsibilities include hands-on repairs across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and grounds, plus supervising a maintenance team, managing on-call rotations, and ensuring high resident satisfaction and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of experience in property management or related field.
• General maintenance and carpentry skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs (electrical, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, HVAC, grounds) as required by state guidelines.
• Carpentry duties: wallboard repair, countertop/cabinet replacement, window/door repair, tile repair.
• Preventative maintenance: siding, painting, lighting, pools, elevators, etc.
