Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Annapolis, MD is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance of multi-site facilities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability.

You will oversee high-speed conveyance systems and other manufacturing equipment, plan staff, and drive continuous improvement across the team. Ideal candidates will have a technical BA/BS, 4+ years of leadership in manufacturing, and strong skills in communication, analysis, and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil).
• 4+ years leading and coaching employee performance in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years' experience with preventive/predictive maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Willingness to travel off-site.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first culture and ensure safe working environments.
• Plan, schedule, and advise the work of employees and evaluate quality.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance of high-speed conveyance systems and other equipment.
• Assist Managers in communicating and achieving departmental goals and objectives.
• Participate in interviewing/hiring, training, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and terminations.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Provide performance management for team development and growth.
• Plan staffing levels and overtime utilization.
• Model CBRE values and cultivate client relations.
• Coordinate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
