Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance and safety across multi-site facilities for a major online retailer. You will oversee maintenance teams, ensure high safety standards, and coordinate with operations.

The role requires strong leadership, 4+ years in manufacturing or facilities maintenance, and excellent communication. Travel may be required, and you will leverage predictive maintenance technologies to optimize equipment performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil).
• 4+ years of leadership and coaching in manufacturing.
• 4+ years of related experience and/or training.
• 2+ years' experience with preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong financial acumen with budgeting and forecasting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and/or schematics.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance technologies (thermography, vibration, airborne ultrasound).
• Willingness to travel off-site.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first culture and ensure workers return home safely.
• Plan, schedule, and advise the work of employees and evaluate quality.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance of high speed conveyance systems and equipment.
• Assist Managers in communicating and achieving departmental goals.
• Participate in interviewing, training, evaluations, corrective actions.
• Develop, disseminate, and communicate work standards and procedures.
• Lead root cause analyses and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Provide performance management for team development.
• Plan staffing levels and labor utilization, including overtime.
• Model company values and foster positive client relationships.
• Collaborate with Client and Operations Maintenance teams.
