Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across the site and develop the next generation of maintenance leaders. You will oversee Area Maintenance Managers and their teams, shaping strategic maintenance programs and driving site-wide improvements.

The role blends strategic planning, budgeting, and leadership development with hands-on management of preventative maintenance, safety programs, and cross-site projects. Expect domestic travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing continuous improvement (CI) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time Exempt experience.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 4+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
• 4+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.

Responsibilities

• You will provide leadership and mentorship to Area Maintenance Managers and their teams of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performance
• You will develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, manage department budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the site
• You will ensure rigorous adherence to safety protocols and procedures across all operational sites while partnering with site Safety leadership to implement and audit safety programs
• You will manage capital spending plans, facilitate cross-functional project planning, perform cost analysis, and coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards
• You will travel domestically up to 15% to support network-level initiatives and provide guidance across multiple sites
