Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations across the site, overseeing Area Maintenance Managers and their teams, and developing the next generation of maintenance leaders. You will blend strategic planning, financial management, and leadership development while balancing preventative maintenance with real-time problem resolution to ensure safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Reliability Engineering, or 2+ years Amazon RME Full Time Exempt experience.
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 4+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of managing department spend and labor budgets, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing continuous improvement (CI) experience.
• 4+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
• 4+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Area Maintenance Managers and teams of service technicians and automation engineers.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, manage department budgets, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and audit safety programs with site leadership.
• Manage capital spending plans, coordinate cross-functional projects, conduct cost analysis, and coordinate external contractors.
• Travel domestically up to 15% to support network-level initiatives and provide guidance across multiple sites.
