Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager to lead daily maintenance and safety across multi-site facilities for a major on-line retailer.

You will plan, schedule, and supervise a team, ensuring compliance with safety standards and driving continuous improvement through root-cause analysis. The role requires a technical degree and several years of maintenance leadership experience; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) is required.
• 4+ years leading and coaching employee performance in a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years' experience with preventive/predictive maintenance of equipment.
• Excellent communication, presentation, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Advanced knowledge of financial terms, forecasting and budgeting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, or schematics.
• Understanding predictive maintenance technologies (thermography, vibration analysis, airborne ultrasound).
• Willingness to travel off-site.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safety-first culture for CBRE employees.
• Plan, schedule, and advise the work of employees and evaluate quality.
• Lead and coordinate maintenance of high-speed conveyance systems and manufacturing equipment.
• Assist Managers in communicating and accomplishing departmental goals.
• Interviewing/hiring, training, performance evaluations, corrective actions, and/or terminations.
• Formulate, disseminate, and communicate work standards and/or procedures.
• Coordinate root cause analysis and corrective actions for continuous improvement.
• Provide performance management for team development and growth.
• Plan staffing levels and labor utilization, including overtime.
• Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with company values.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with Client and Operations Maintenance team.
