Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee and perform technical and mechanical work across the community in Sugar Hill, GA. Responsibilities include handling work orders, making repairs, prepping units for leasing, inspecting safety and quality, and coordinating with vendors.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, proficiency with hand and power tools, EPA Type I/II or Universal HVAC certs, and strong customer service and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and related maintenance experience.
• EPA certifications Type I and II or Universal for HVAC work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for resident interaction.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from residents and perform routine upkeep on the community.
• Manage make-ready process for vacant units: inspections, punch list, scheduling vendors.
• Develop standards for grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by others and by contractors for quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and order supplies within budget.
• Support safety meetings and OSHA compliance; ensure MSDS sheets are current.
• Assist in budget development and cost-control initiatives.
