Job summary

Comstock Companies is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead onsite maintenance teams across multiple communities. The role emphasizes safety, uptime, and exceptional resident service while driving capital projects and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates have extensive residential facilities management experience, strong HVAC/electrical/plumbing knowledge, and supervisory skills to maintain 100% uptime and regulatory compliance across properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and valid driver's license required.
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required; Master Electrician and Plumbing preferred.
• At least 10 years of residential maintenance experience and 5+ years supervisory experience in facilities management.
• Building automation systems experience is required; strong customer service skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide Class A customer service and build rapport with residents.
• Supervise and direct maintenance staff; assign work and monitor performance.
• Ensure prompt, efficient service by the maintenance team and manage safety practices.
• Collaborate with Property Manager on budgets, forecasts, and financial reviews.
• Develop multi-year capital project plans and oversee capital project execution.
• Oversee preventive maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other systems.
• Ensure building compliance with regulatory laws and maintain documentation.
• Perform site inspections; manage turn overs and vendor activities.
