Job summary

BFS Foods in Morgantown, WV is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide desktop, remote, and on-site technical support across a multi-location operation including convenience stores, fuel facilities, and restaurants.

The role covers Windows OS, Office 365, AD administration, and network support, with weekend on-call rotation and travel within a two-hour radius. Team-oriented, customer-focused candidates will fit well.

Qualifications

• Proven desktop and field support experience.
• Able to travel regularly to locations.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service.
• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to employees and remote locations via phone, email, remote access, and in-person support.
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, printers, peripherals, and other IT hardware.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and other business software.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and APs.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN connectivity, VPNs, VLANs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot surveillance systems, including IP cameras, NVRs, and related equipment.
• Support point-of-sale (POS) systems and peripherals.
• Assist with the administration of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and other enterprise applications.
• Respond to support requests promptly and follow up through resolution.
• Assist with IT infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and technology improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and completed work.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues.
• Participation in rotational weekend on-call schedule
• Travel to company locations, generally within a two-hour radius of Morgantown, WV
