Job summary

Goldbergs Group seeks an IT Tech Specialist to deliver day-to-day technical support across its restaurant, manufacturing, and corporate sites. You’ll handle hardware, software, network, and POS support to keep technology running smoothly.

The role is hands-on, requires travel between locations, and includes weekend on-call coverage. You’ll work under the IT Manager and Senior Technician to resolve incidents efficiently.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on IT support/technician experience.
• Proficient in troubleshooting across a variety of systems and environments.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows OS; working knowledge of macOS, iOS, and Android.
• Experience supporting the Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Wi-Fi basics.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting across desktops, laptops, printers, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Strong ticketing/documentation discipline, ideally with monday.com or similar platform.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.
• Willingness to travel between Goldbergs Group locations.
• On-call rotation including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site technical support to end users across all Goldbergs Group locations.
• Log, track, and resolve IT incidents and service requests using monday.com or similar platforms.
• Provide Microsoft 365 suite client application support; assist with routine tasks in the MS Entra admin portal.
• Maintain, configure, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure including PC hardware, laptops, printers, tablets, VPN, and core software systems.
• Assist with asset management and setup of desktops, laptops, printers, phones, and tablets.
• Work with vendors to support Clover POS systems across restaurant locations.
• Set up and maintain Zebra printers.
• Set up and support Ubiquiti UniFi security camera systems.
• Provide in-house audio/visual setup and support for meetings and events.
• Support onboarding/offboarding IT tasks per SOPs, including account setup and access changes.
• Troubleshoot core network infrastructure — switches, routers, wireless access points, VPNs.
• Escalate complex issues to IT Senior Technician or IT Manager in a timely manner.
• Provide multi-location IT support, traveling between sites as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation — including weekends — for after-hours support.
