Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking a Human Resource Manager to partner with site leadership in Minneapolis, MN. The role focuses on talent strategy, workforce planning, recruiting, employee relations, performance management, benefits, and HR compliance.

In this position, you will lead full-cycle recruitment, manage employee relations, coach managers on performance documentation, and ensure adherence to employment laws across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience; HR Manager or HRBP experience preferred.
• Certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site leadership on talent strategy, workforce planning, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for exempt and non-exempt positions and collaborate with managers on hiring strategies.
• Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, complaints, policy violations, accommodations, corrective actions, terminations, and unemployment claims.
• Administer performance management processes and coach managers on documentation, feedback, and corrective action.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and posting/recordkeeping requirements.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records for new hires, changes, and terminations.
• Lead benefits administration for multiple sites, including enrollment support and coordination with vendors.
