Shenandoah Hospitality invites a visionary General Manager to lead a multi-site operation along Skyline Drive, spanning lodges, restaurants, retail, and campgrounds near Shenandoah National Park. You will build an exceptional team, forge strong partnerships with the National Park Service, and shape guest experiences for millions of annual visitors.

This role emphasizes strategic leadership, financial oversight, and a culture of service excellence, safety, and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hospitality leadership in a complex, multi-unit setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business, or related field.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, fiscal management, and revenue enhancement.
• Strong leadership with ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Lead the performance of a high-volume multi-revenue operation across multiple sites.
• Build and maintain proactive relationships with the Partner Agency and ensure clear communication of priorities and guest experience.
• Champion a customer- and guest-focused culture delivering exceptional service and quality.
• Execute company strategies to drive service, safety, sustainability, guest satisfaction, revenue growth, and financial performance.
• Lead, develop, and mentor departmental managers, fostering collaboration and engagement.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash handling, profitability, and cost opportunities.
• Oversee HR, recruitment, housing, training, and compliance with labor requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, policies, and applicable regulations.
• Serve as Responsible Safety Officer overseeing safety and risk management.
• Provide leadership for marketing, sales, community relations and guest experience initiatives.
• Identify operational challenges and develop proactive solutions with leadership teams.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
