Job summary

ExplorUS seeks an experienced Human Resources leader to manage HR programs across two park sites, starting with Shenandoah National Park. You will partner with site leaders to support up to 400 employees, shaping talent strategies from onboarding to engagement and retention.

Role focuses on employee relations, policy adherence, and onboarding, with oversight of benefits and payroll coordination. On-site work and occasional travel are expected in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years progressive HR leadership experience in high-volume, multi-site hospitality or park environments.
• Strong employee relations experience with ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion.
• Proven ability to recruit, onboard, and develop a diverse workforce across locations.
• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance applicable to multi-site operations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR programs and services across multiple sites, ensuring policy alignment and regulatory compliance.
• Lead employee relations investigations and partner with leaders on performance and policy matters.
• Drive recruiting and talent acquisition to fill roles promptly in collaboration with site leadership.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of site HR staff and interns.
• Manage HR documentation, benefits enrollment, and payroll-related coordination.
