Job summary

Shenandoah Hospitality is seeking a Campground Manager to lead complex campground operations in the Blue Ridge Mountains. You will drive financial performance, recruit and train staff, oversee facilities maintenance, and ensure a superb guest experience in partnership with the Partnering Agency.

You will coordinate with Project Managers on improvement initiatives and report to the General Manager, with a role that blends leadership, hospitality, and outdoor recreation in a premier national park

Qualifications

• Progressive multi-site management experience in hospitality/outdoor recreation.
• Strong leadership and staff development capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting, accounting, inventory, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all regular campground operations for assigned area.
• Liaise between Partnering Agency and corporate office to meet contractual expectations.
• Collaborate on interpretive programming and guest experience initiatives.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and identify opportunities to enhance visitor experience.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on improvement projects with minimal disruption.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and operating standards.
• Manage operating budget and financial reporting to General Manager.
• Supervise Site Managers and staff, including training and scheduling.
